Canadian Food Grains Bank
2009 was the twelfth year of the Forest United Growing Project in support of the Canadian International Development Agency

Fellowship Circle
Fellowship Circle meetings are held on the 4th Thursday of the month at 7:30 p.m. with dinner meetings starting at 6:00 p.m.

Fun After School
Fun After School consists of a snack time, gym time, a lesson, and a craft.  There are 3 six week sessions during the school year.  The sessions are from Oct 19 to Nov 23, 2015, Jan 11-Mar 7, 2016 and April 4-May 9, 2016.  It is held at Kinnwood Central School from 2:45 to 4:00 on Monday evenings. Children from JK to Grade 8 are welcome.

Memorial Tree
The Memorial Tree in the sanctuary is a way for families to leave an on-going legacy to the church by means of a financial donation in memory of their loved ones.

Christian Education
A variety of programs and activities have been hosted by the Christian Education Committee throughout the year including: S.P.Y. (Spirit Powered Youth) aka Sunday School. Bible Studies and a family oriented event, "Adventuring into Advent" held on a Saturday in late November to start the Advent season.  The library was recently moved and updated.

Outreach Committee
Men's Breakfast:  To be held the last Saturday of each month starting at 8:00 a.m.
Summer Festival: The first summer festival held in July of 2009 was a great success with music, food, games and fun for everyone.  The Outreach Committee plan to make the Summer Festival an annual event.
Guess Who's Coming to Dinner:  Is a time of fun, fellowship and fundraising; another successful annual event. 

 United Church Women
"To unite all women of the Congregation for the total mission of the church and to provide a medium through which they may express their devotion to Jesus Christ in Christian witness, study, fellowship and service."
The UCW (United Church Women) are an active group of women who meet regularly for fellowship and worship, cater to special dinners, provide luncheons for funerals, maintain the church kitchen and support the ongoing workof the church.  They meet on the first Tuesday of each month at 1:30 pm in the church parlour.  All women are invited to join these women at their meetings."

Quilters Group  A group of avid quilters gather on Mondays to quilt.

Visitation Team
A  small group meets regularly on the 3rd Thursday of the month to plan visits. One goal over the past year has been to deliver booklets in the series, Experiencing Grief, to those who have lost a loved one.  We have also tried a time of fellowship and coffee on one Tuesday morning each month.

Prayer Chain
There are dedicated volunteers who will pray for a need when contacted.  The request is kept confidential.
